26 year old Robbie Keane and 27 year old Damien Duff will be as good as anyone, mark my words.

I totally agree on Damien Duff. Every time he got a touch on the ball this summer you could tell he was something special, only time will tell what he can do with 4 more years under his belt.

Freddie Adu…….but we’ll make him an American first…!

You've named a bunch of players who will be as far over the hill in 2006 as I am. And some of the younger ones you've mentioned won't get any better. You best look to up and coming pros. like Robinho (He has 3 years to have Ronaldo show him how to really dive) and other young stars.

    lol! Thats damn funny.

As for Viera over the hill? He'll be thirty. And IMO, his style of play isn't one that dramatically decreases with age. Unlike Michael Owen who's already decreasing. ;) (sorry, couldn't resist saying it to a scouser)

    NOTE: joking about Owen.

    Riquelme or perhaps Joaquin.

But I voted for Ronaldinho. I want to see him prove himself in one of the big leagues (Italy, Eng. or Spain) first.

how about ballack, chivu, van der vaart, rosicky, kaka or shevchenko on the short list?

still ill need to see someone pass henry as the best

and yeah micky O is over the hill... until he nets 10 goals in 8 matches or something like that - face it he is as streaky as streaky gets

I was just about to do a pout.

Mikey is just going through a rough spell, he's about to turn the corner and get back on track.

Ballack never was that good and he won’t get better by ’06 and Shevchenko hasn’t yet found a penalty area he didn’t like to fall in.

I think Javier Saviola is gonna be one of the biggest stars of the 2006 world cup. He'll be around 25, which is the perfect age, and playing with the talented Argentina team he has a chance to win the golden boot. He played great against Inter today in the Champion's League.

    2 questions:

what made you sleep through the entire 2001-2002 season and world cup?

why would you utilize your ability to tell the future on BS and not in vegas?

He's no better than a "good" player, the poll is, stars...!!!
