After the game today, who do you think will be dropped? My selection is ter Stegen, Schmelzer, S. Bender and Cacau

I picked Stegen, Bender and Draxler as that seems to be who wil be dropped by Loew based on a realisitc squas basis.

Had you asked who i think should get dropped without considering the logitstics of the squad it'd be:
Stegen - No way is he better than Zieler. Don't know what everyone is on about if they think he is o_O
Schmelzer - Won't even bother here
Mertesacker - Never have been a fan and on top of that does not have the match fitness needed. Badstuber, Howedes and Boateng are all ahead of him anyway.

Ter Stegen was at fault for the 2nd and 4th. Apart from that, he was good.

Ahh the goalkeeper is only at fault for two goals? Must have had a fantastic match then.

Although Merte should be cut after his showing today, he won't be.

We haven't called enough defenders up to justify dropping one of them now.

Before today's game I would have said:
    - Neuer because he didn't save more penalties than Cech and is therefore mentally unstable
    - Müller because he faked an injury and cost Bayern the CL win for the 2nd time after 2010
    - Lahm because he carries the curse of the 2nd place which can never be cured
    - Schweinsteiger because he carries the same curse and obviously cannot even lead a team

    But now it's definitely:
    - ter Stegen who, at senior level, has conceded 5 goals in 100% of his games for Germany
    - Hummels who couldn't even play a flawless game behind a non-existing double pivot
    - Schmelzer who isn't needed anyway as there's 5 better LBs in the squad
    - Götze who cannot even deliver when playing out of position and therefore is entirely useless

    That's the four for me.

ter Stegen. I did have him just ahead of Zieler, but he looked more than a little nervous for me. Too many mistakes and some bad decisions - such as the Schumacher-style charge that left Lichtsteiner with an easy finish for the fourth Swiss goal.

Schmelzer. I was prepared to stick with this guy purely on account of us not having a single recognised left back, but this latest dismal performance for the NT suggests that we'd be better off playing with ten men. Ergo: we don't even need this guy as he is a liability. I'd happily pack his bags for him.

Cacau. Surplus to requirments as Reus can fill in as third striker.

Sven Bender. The unlucky one who finds himself having to pay for the fact that İlkay Gündoğan and Julian Draxler both looked good when they came on, and that we just cannot drop another awful defender - Merte. Gündoğan slotted in smoothly and looked the part, while Draxler had two decent shots at goal not long after coming one, the second of which led to our third goal. Jogi has shown faith with youngsters before, I think taking Drax to Poland and the Ukraine could be a good move. More so as it is the school holidays now.

Considering that Klose is completely out of shape, Draxler should not leave. Furthermore, considering that we Lahm could play right and left, and we have Boateng and Howedes to fill in along with Lars Bender, Schelzmer should be dropped.

Ter Stegen and Cacau are no brainers.

In the end, it wont really matter who will be dropped..... Anyone from the list above, par Gundogan, will see minimal minutes anyway.... if any at all.

How about Reus? Draxler will see minimal time even if Klose is fit .

I think Reus might be first off the bench now for the attack... he can come in for Klose/Podolski/Mueller or one of the defensive mids if we need more power up front
