The only problem that required Wilt's attention at Sunday's game, he said, was a fan who had consumed too much alcohol before the match and required medical attention. http://www.dailyherald.com/search/main_story.asp?intID=3772553
I forget the foursomes names (or at least which one is which) but absolute complete compliments to the friend who did a really good job of moving him out of section 8 and taking care of him. Good looking out for your friend and Section 8.
lmao last year my room mate had to sleep in first aid because he was so hammered so this is 2 years in a row for the first game of the fire (last year it was the champion's cup match)
my apologies to pw. the one in question is perfectly fine today. thanks to the emt's but not to the po po's. what a hassle.
You know the off season is really long for some people. It's hard to see him in most of the photos because most of the time we were shoving him down to sit down. Those bleachers are shakey enough w/o a certain Irish Man of Mystery falling all over the place.
Hey Jason your boys look a lot bigger than last year. How much have they grown? And the compliments have to go to Cam especially this is basically his only home game before he has to go to the Navy and he missed almost the whole thing.
It isn't the guy in the NAVY sweatshirt. Below his left elbow. red hair. looks like he's about to fall down....
the guy in the navy sweatshirt is cameron. he helped our inebriated friend out of section 8. three cheers for cameron.
Only one of them was mine, the other was his best friend. My youngest got sick and couldn't come to the game so I found a replacement. But he has grown a lot since last year. I fear the day that he is taller then me is not far away. Again, good job to Cameron, he will have no problems in the Navy with character like that. I wont even make a Navy joke about him now, and that's hard for a Marine to not do.
If you ever need a babysitter, Abby (chitowndoll) is always saying how she would be more than happy to watch your kids for you. Although I'm sure all bets are off if it's during a game. And I didn't think that 2nd boy was actually yours but still your older guy looks twice his size from last season.
If she doesn't mind coming up to the Northwest burbs I'm sure we can arrange that for her! The whole crew should be at the next home game, I will know which direction to point the little ones in when they start to bother me during the game. Good luck Abbey!
I believe that this thread was originated in my honor, so I feel that duty compels me to give a brief explanation of the evening. Fellow countrymen, lend me your ears but for a minute and I shall indulge you in a tale of unrequited love, piracy on the high seas, and soccer matches combined with wine coolers. The match would have been just another, ordinary opening day had it not been for one simple fact, my girlfriend (henceforth referred to as "lover") was due in from out of town that very night. Now, I am a very private man, so I will not share all of the details with you, so suffice to say that I have been having certain difficulties with my lover. She is not what some may call "the best apple in the bushel." As a matter of fact, in the past I typically have had to consume large quantities of alcohol in order to force the glowing embers of passion in my heart to warm to her rather "homely" appearance. Yea, I shall tell thee but a little more; recently she has accused me of being "too small" for her. Yet I do not understand the full implications of these accusations. I am taller than her, I weigh more than she does, in fact I am the larger individual. So how can it be that whenever we join in physical congress she claims I am "too small?" This idea still eludes me. Regardless, I set about to create a situation where I would be intoxicated for her arrival. Three Zimas and 14 pineapple-rum cakes later I was ripped. Again, had it not been for the actions of my friend, Cameron the Unibomber and our family practitioner, Dr. Anuolu African, I could have been a lot worse than I was. In an age when even our fearless national leader is noted for his outstanding sobriety, I am embarassed that I caused such a scene. To the best of my understanding, no one has ever been drunk at a sporting match before, and I am sorry that I had to be the first citizen of the United States to combine alcohol with sporting events. However, as human rights activist and future-saint Mother Theresa once said: "Everybody gets hammered for soccer season. This guy! [makes cutting gesture across throat] Wasted!" Dipsy in aut three baby! Flynn (you may remember me from such ambulance rides as the last home game)
