That's OK...you're still trying to unload that "authentic" blue Force jersey of a guy who never played for the team...
then why was the jersey produced ..... cleveland never offered jersey for sale to the public with their names on them
Holy fraud, Batman! Why are you touting it as a Marinaro jersey? And why are you making up Ranchoff as a sponsor? If I had to guess I would say it was a Nanchoff throwback game jersey that got misprinted. But since I don't know I won't misrepresent it on eBay.
If you search "Ranchoff cleveland" in google, you get links to dermatalogist ratings. That's about it. Here's another "Ranchoff" btw: Woops! Take that back. After second reviewing it (as the MISL should do), it looks more like an "N" to me. Funny thing is he'd probably make a little more listing it as a "rare misprint."
When did ignorance become such a virtue in this country? People will say the most ridiculous things and then fight til the end to defend them.
I has assumed Ranchoff was a sponser but after I checked this jersey is a Printing mistake the player should of been George Nanchoff or Louis Nanchoff In 1980, George Nanchoff signed with the Phoenix Inferno of Major Indoor Soccer League. In 1982, the Inferno traded Nanchoff to the Cleveland Force mid way through the season. Nanchoff remained with the force until he retired from playing professionally in 1985.
First off, that jersey is a Force2 jersey, not a jersey from the 'original' Force teams. You can easily tell that from the jersey manufacturer to the number font and the name font. Also, the Nanchoff brothers wore #13 and #14, not #21. The Force2 had order forms where you could order a custom jersey (as Rich P. pointed out above). The numbers and name were 'dyed into' the jersey. So you could order one through the manufacturer via the front office with a name and number of your choice. My guess would be someone ordered a #21 jersey with the name Ranchoff on it (I would guess their last name).
No you didn't. You already lied that Ranchoff was a sponsor and that you saw these all over the place and that it was a Marinaro jersey.
I have seen several of these jerseys for sale unlike you i am on about 150 auctions sites , & 2nd Marinaro always wore the #21 & i have corrected the ebay listing it was my mistake because i had assumed it was a sponser & i have stated that Btw How many Misl jerseys do you own or buy and sell every year ???????
you issue is I made a Mistate Big freaken deal if its has anything to do with the misl you have a negative response to it , get over your self

Quite impressive I must say. I am more into the team stuff myself. I have Wings, Sidekicks and Comets vinyl banners from some all star game in Baltimore?? back in the 80's. Those are my favorite items from back in the day. Pale in comparison to all those jerseys you have though. Cardshop has a nice collection also.
