I actually agree with everything you said in terms of the social/political stuff but you really are being hyperbolic and exaggerating it all by equating it to what is happening on a football forum. C'mon dude. Anyway do you think it's normal for a RM fan to want us to lose against our eternal rivals today? That's my issue. It's normal to question that because it is utterly pathetic. To use your political analogy. It's like an American who is against the war in Iran wanting his own country to be bombed because "we deserve it". C'mon it's stupid. We are here to shame those people.
I never celebrate the club losing, but people who do so, I think, do so because the worse the symptoms get, the sooner the club is going to reach for the medicine. Ultimately it's just another way of hoping for what's best for Real Madrid. You may be a part of the group that thinks the situation is not as dire, and that we should all stick together and back the club and players and they'll surely turn the corner any second soon. Other fans think the issues started quite some time ago, that the "rot" is deep, and that having it all collapse fast - the sooner we'll get to fixing the systemic problems, instead of slowly watch the "disease" progress and deteriorate the club into certain disaster. I think that's where the disconnect is between the two groups. Additionally, some people lean hard into the loyalty aspect of the fandom, supporting players who gave us titles, the others think they're prioritizing their loyalty to the club - which is why they think some players are not behaving/playing in a way that truly benefits the club. It's fine to have discussions about different approaches, but ultimately this will always come down to different personalities and different personal experiences. Nobody is a bad person for holding either of the two views. The ugly thing is when people start implying that someone is a traitor for preferring the opposite view, or that they are somehow "racist" etc. Just my two cents.
You're not going to shame shit. The club allowed a player to tell an opponent he could k*ll him if he wanted and just weeks later two of it's players attempted that on one another. Clearly the standard has never been this low. The only people feeling comfortable with the circus the club has been are people that are living online.
It's much more arguable that people who aren't sniffing their own farts on some sports entertainment decorum sh*t are less online. Like c'mon bro, that is some insane cope. Maybe you should remind people of your bonafides again since that seems so important to you that people know. I'm here to be a fanatic, like the people in the stadium who jeer, then cheer. Emphasis on the latter.
The club is a lot more embarrassing to root for in person than online, that's the point. I can't imagine standing with a straight face in front of people that have been in the sport for over a decade and telling them "actually you are wrong, everybody is wrong, this is a media crusade". Bayern traveled with their entire lobby crew to Madrid, to take a look at the stadium renovations and have the classic boardroom dinner between clubs and the only thing you heard was how unimpressed they were with what the club has done lately, while still being aware of the history the two clubs share.
