When Maldini retires who should take the armband? I think it should be Pirlo. He is always available for a pass and knows what to do with the ball.

This has been asked many times. Milan usually give the armband to the longest serving player. This is the current pecking order for the captaincy:

    1. Maldini
    2. Costacurta
    3. Ambrosini
    4. Sheva
    5. Gattuso

With Costacurta and Ambrosini most likely leaving Milan soon as well it comes down to Sheva and Gattuso.

I would like to see Rino get it. He's the heart and soul of Milan.

Nesta without a doubt. He has all the experience necessary, and leads by example.
