So are you guys going to Iran with that A team as well? What were the terms of that agreement if any of you guys know? All I heard so far was that you guys were going to Tehran for a March 1st Friendly. As you guys might know, Iranian friendlies are notorious for breaking down right before the match is supposed to be played.
I heard the Iranian F.F. is paying CR the airline tickets, hotel stay plus $100.000. CR will be sending almost its entire A team. Guima wasn´t very happy about this game, but it was the only one possible.
Wow....100 grand. Why wasnt he happy with it? The logistical nightmare? You guys are getting friendlies at least. Who else is Costa Rica Playing?
CR plays Czech Republic a week before the WC, but its not 100% sure because, our Federations doesn´t want to play for free, while the czechs think they´re doing us a favor. I think CR wants $50.000 for that game. The other ones is the friendly against Korea next saturday.
If you guys are getting paid $100.000 from Iran (FIFA #19), $50.000 from Czech Republic (FIFA #2) then South Korea (FIFA #29) must be paying you a heavy sum of money. They are notorious for paying large sums of money for "ego-boosting" friendlies at home and in Los Angeles. Back in September 2005, the Koreans paid all of Iran's expenses including the airline tickets, hotel stay plus an undisclosed amount of bonus money, for Iran to play them in South Korea.

IMHO both suck, Herron has always sucked and Sunsing plays now for the worst team in the greek League 0.0% chances to going to the WC for both I don't hate Herron but I consider myself better than him! jajaja, I felt bad when some firefans asked me about him, i didn't wanna tell them that they were wasting their money in him. Sunsing was good a few years ago, in the 2002WCQ's, now he sux.
Herron is a skillfull player, but lacks intelligence and self control. I'd rather see Kurt Bernard at the CW than Herron.
Kurt bernard should also go back to limon man... and he can take reyner robinson with him.... they are just lucky players.... like Sabo, but sabo scores more goals... heheheh
are you sure about those stats? if so, that will be a 2-2-2 now, but i think we have defeated south Korea 3 times with yday's win... not sure...
Congratulations Costa Rica for humbling the Koreans. I can't wait for Iran-Costa Rica, it should be an entertaining match to watch. May the better team win.
