LA didn't do the double, but they got the Supporters' Shield.

I worded that poorly. What i should have said was they held LA to just the MLS cup and supporter's shield. But you understood what i meant anyway

They did do a double, they got the MLS Cup and the Shield. They did not do the domestic treble.

    Cripey, can anyone count anymore?

They also kept Dallas out of the Champions' Cup by winning.

Actually, it might be easier to beat dallas next season HAD they gotten into it...but whatever. Any bad day for Dallas is a good day for us.

Enjoy the scenery while it lasts :)

Here's hoping they don't juke up the scheduling too much next year. If we use scheduling similar to last year, then we'll be playing at least four games.

I hadn't thought before now about the scheduling since the league reverted to ten teams. I see that L.A was the only West team we played four times this past season. Is it a lock that Dallas takes that slot next season? How is that determined?

    Re: 2003 schedule

Well, last year we played a 28 game season: 2x home and away for all teams in your division, 1x home and away for all teams in the other division, and an extra home and away for the team that was ranked the same as your team in their division.

With the three divisions the year before, it was 2x home and away in your division and 1x home and away with the other divisions, with the 28 game schedule.

When we had three divisions and 32 games, we had extra games against the two same ranked teams in the form of an extra home and away series on each side.

Now we're going to be playing a 30 game season though, so I'm not sure how the extra four (four more than 26 which is home and away in the other division and double home and away in your division) games will be allocated.

I believe that we're also committed to a home game against an international team during the "break" in the middle of the season.
