About BigSoccer Since 1995, BigSoccer Inc. has been serving soccer fans in the United States. The BigSoccer Store sells soccer jerseys from around the world, as well as DVDs, books and other items geared toward soccer fans. The BigSoccer Boards comprise community services covering nearly every league, club and tournament on five continents. BigSoccer Inc. is privately held. Executive Team Ethan Beard Prior to co-founding BigSoccer, Ethan spent several years as the Director of Business Development for MTV/VH1 Interactive. Ethan most recently worked at Silicon Alley Venture Partners, an early stage technology VC firm, and at Fountainhead Capital, a statistical arbitrage hedge fund. Ethan began his career structuring derivatives with Bank of America's Financial Engineering and Risk Management group. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Jesse Hertzberg Jesse spent several years as General Manager of several South American properties at StarMedia Network prior to co-founding BigSoccer. Jesse most recently worked at Himalaya Capital, a New York City based private equity fund. His experience also includes working in the Financial Services Practice of Price Waterhouse LLP's Management Consulting Services.
