It's early yet, but a pattern is forming, is Big Phil listening?

Speaking of Big Phil, Scolari is available at the moment, unless the Mexican Federation get to him before us. (ha ha ha, sorry... I forgot that MLS doesn't have two pennies to rub together, much less serious cash to lure a decent coach to this league)

Speaking of not having two pennies to rub together . . . .

Although I never got around to it in the Nick "Cost Us" comment thread, I was laughing my butt off at that part of Nick's quote where he said he wouldn't "throw millions" at Mathis in his current shape, as if Nick actually had millions to throw around. Nick couldn't throw millions at Mathis if Clint were the next Ruud Van Nistleroy.

This is just another one of Nick's blowhard remarks that we have become accustomed to. Remember all his hard guy talk about the NJSEA, taking them to court yada yada yada. Well, while I really do hate the NJSEA and what they've done to the Metro and its fans, but Nick went in with his blowhard strutting and has been tail between the legs since the court case. I suppose now it's all . . . "Yes, Mr. Zoffinger, sir" from Nicko these days.
