I wouldn't say he is in the world's top tier, but I think Valdes has been improving quite a bit during this season.

It will need to have been some improvement for me to even consider including him in a top 10.

The best goalkeeper right now is Rogério Ceni.

As Teso said "We shall see how he performs when he comes up against the best strikers in the world on a regular basis"

One would have to be extremely bias to say that Ceni is better then his European counterparts.

I don't think Rogério is better than Cech, Buffon or Casillas definitely, but that phrase is really ridiculous, not for being incorrect in theory, because it's not possible to define with accuracy if Rogério had more demand than european goalkeepers only by the cathegory of the strikers in their leagues.

See what ?! Your answer to AZTECA ?! There is no relevant information there.

Anonymouse... your eurocentrism make me sick...

And Rogerio Ceni don´t need to prove anything to anybody.

And other point... even without our best players the brazilian championship is the best football championship in the world and unique way to a european championship be better is to have 400 brazilians players acting there.

Yes Ceni is sooo good. That is why he is being showered with offers from Europe and why he is the number one choice for his country

Spare me the Youtube link. A well combined video can make the worst player look good.

Well... Ceni got some offers from Europe and Japan but he denied them. He prefers to stay here and become a idol. He was right.

About the brazilian NT you should know before speak that he´s enemy of CBF directors like Ricardo Teixeira and others. There is a boycott from CBF against him. Beside he is too old for our NT with 35 years old.

I have to agree Buffon is the best, Casillas is a close second due to Buffon's organization of his backline.

Both Buffon and Casillas are miles ahead of the rest.

Cech has now dropped out of my three. Far too many stupid mistakes over the course of this season. I just cannot justify his inclusion.
