Who is gone when?

    Next year, we could have a fairly large number of national team callups:

    1. Convey and Quaranta to the U-20 World Cup in UAE.


    2. Nelsen (definitely), Olsen (most likely), Convey and Quaranta (unlikely) to the Confed Cup during June

    3. Olsen (most likely), Convey and Quaranta (unlikely) to the Gold Cup during July.

    Is there anyone else we could be missing?

    Hence, the bringing in of Petke and Kovalenko...

    Nelsen - definitely out for Confeds Cup and possibly more international matches

    Olsen - 75% he is named for Confeds Cup

    Convey/Quaranta - 100% for U-20 World Cup
    25% for Confeds Cup

    Gold Cup will be almost nonconsequential due to the extreme light MLS scedule during the competition...

    Unless 23% of the remainder is allowing for injury, I think the chances are much better than that.

    Will Q2 miss anything because of ES commitments (youth or otherwise)? I'm too damn lazy to look. Maybe someone knows.

    I think he's in the ES nats outhouse after he failed to report for the last tournament they were in.
    I think it was the U20 this past fall.

    Reading this, looks like another defender is needed for cover. With the second DCU pick, would you opt for a midfielder or this defender?
