there is no doubt, the azteca is the best stadium in Mexico, maybe the world. The bad part is that it is really hard to fill it up and so for normal games it doesn't provide great atmosphere.

Outside of the Azteca I would have to say:

I too agree that the Azteca is the best. It (in my opinion is the best staium in the world) I think it is the biggest football only stadium in the world. It also holds the record for the 2nd and 3rd largest crowds in a world cup final. 105,000 and 114,000. First place is Brazil with 186,000 but their stadium has been rebuilt and now holds o only 70,000.

Have you ever been to Aguascalientes?

You should think about trying to make it out to the:

Feria Nacional de San Marcos 2004

It will be held in Aguascalientes during late April/early May.

It is known as the Best Feria in all of Mexico!

    Here is a link:

    New Stadium in Culiacán

    Thank ************ for this information...

I heard 50k-60k but nothing is concrete.

    Check this out!

If you go to this website:

    http://200.76.177.21/main.htm

click on the "centro de cultura..." link on the left.. you will see this flash presentation of what the JVC center will look like and the buildings that will be around

It all ties together into what can best be described as a futuristic/natural theme.

    My father is from Aguascalientes.

All the more reason to go.

    Listen to your mom!

If you have any questions on travel arrangements feel free to ask me any questions that you may have. I have been traveling to Aguascalientes since the early 90's at least once a year, or sometimes even twice a year.
