Im thinking Arsenal: Eboue Gallas Toure Clichy Great attacking players at either side and two big/strong experienced guys in the middle. All very fast.
Seriously, are you trying to be funny. Hello we can't keep a cleen sheet to save our self. I wouldn't say Toure and Gallas were big, almost the small CB pair in the premiership. Chelsea has the best defence(when G.Johnson NOT playing)
Man City: Richards and Dunne (who has been our player of the year for three years running) at Centre Defence. Garrido on the right, looks an absolute steal at 1.5m Corluka on the left, with Onuhoa (an England U21 international) to come on as sub. Against West Ham he beat like 3 players down the wing before passing to Geovanni for our goal.
I think Liverpool and Chelsea are the hardest teams to score against,But i would say that Chelsea just edge it
Corluka has been playing on the right and Garrido is a left-back. I'd let Corluka play next to Dunne and put Richards at RB so he could get forward. Then again, can't argue with two straight clean sheets (against shite teams or not)
I think it man city or Evertone so far man city cos of Richards n Dunne Everton is great all across with Yobo, lescott, Stubbs and Hibbert also with Tim Howard in the goalie, they have the best defence in the league
Which facts would those be? The fact that in each of the last 5 seasons they have conceded more goals than Chelsea?
In any case, it's not just about the four players strung across the back line. Chelsea have the best specialist holding midfielder of his generation (and of many others, for that matter), which makes a pretty big difference to the performance of the defenders behind him. Terry's an outstanding stopper and Carvalho is an athletic, clever defender, but they'll both have an awful lot more opportunities to prove that with Mikel in front of them this season, rather than Makalele. Likewise, Liverpool conceded 37 goals in all competitions last season before the arrival of Mascherano and 16 after it (not the most scientific measure, I know, but you get the point).
