PO'd that he was snatched away from us.

Can you believe that performance tonight? After he led the comeback on Saturday, to boot.

And we were all happy for his sake when he went to Spain; now he can't even get a f***ing match in the second division! Way to show 'em Jozy!

I dont get pissed off because its Jozy and he deserves it, i wear his RB jersey with pride. I do get upset.

But I honestly think we have a new upcoming star in Kandji !! hoping he trains hard and has a break out season !

Word. I look forward to seeing Kandji play, you wouldn't think right away that someone so tall would be so skilled with the ball until you see him doing it... and suddenly it all makes sense.

I feel very proud to have watched him for a few years whenever he plays well, and proud to have been talking about him to everyone who would listen before he even got called up the senior team. I know come 2010 a lot of casual USA fans are going to be surprised by how big a part of the team he's going to be.

He NEEDS to play next year with a club, it's going to be one of the most important seasons of his career. If it ain't Villareal, they need to secure a loan with some playing time guarantees.

Did anyone notice that there were more former NY players out there than any other team???

    Well said.

I hope my word choice (PO'd) wasn't misread as anything against Jozy personally; I couldn't be more pleased to see him doing so well.
It's just the usual Metro/RB crap; we score a special player, then we end up getting shafted. By the league, usually.
    Bah.

That happens to tons and tons of teams around the world.... players leave for bigger/other teams...

I'm happy to have watched Jozy play for the Red Bulls - and happy when he does well overseas and on the National Team.

I wonder if the league makes more money selling tickets, selling herbalife jerseys, or selling players.

Toad, we all know what you mean. I'm pissed at the coach who takes him on loan and doesn't even sit him on the bench. That is totally against the spirit of any loan deals, and I hope he pays for it in the future when clubs refused to deal with his club.

I know sometimes talk is cheap, but Jozy has said he wants to come back to RBNY after he finishes his career overseas. you figure most overseas stars come here when they're in they're 30-32, that gives jozy roughly 11-12 years to DOMINATE in Europe :p . Hence my 2020 prediction. RBA will be renovated to house 40k and Jozy will wear the armband for RBNY.
