Well after a few transfer miracles, this is my dream lineup for next season:

    -------------RVN----Saha-----------

    --(Giggs)Rothen--Van Der Vaart--Keane--Joaquin(Ronaldo)

    ----Silvestre----Lucio----R.Ferdinand----Mexes

can mexes play right back? i've mostly seen him play in the center but other than that, that's a solid lineup and i would love to see all those players at old trafford.

I want a new physio - someone with a "new" mind like the guy at Bayern Munich - check him out. Maybe Ballack could bring him and his leeches and cabbage leaves with him...

I want Johnny Cochran, he'll deal with the FA's dealings well & good.

On the field it'd be Lucio, Trabelsi & VdV (if possible). Gerrard is just a pipedream.

I want Lucio, Van der Vart, Rooney, and Gerrard.

Beckham too if he wants to take a seat on the bench.

Hmm. Of all the players we've been rumored to get, I want:

    1. Gerrard
    2. Vicente
    3. Lucio

If we could get those 3 guys, we'd not only win the title, but we'd win it by 354 miles.

People don't think Gerrard would ever make the move to ManU; here's a thought for Keano's replacement...Gattuso from Milan. Hard-nosed ball winner with excellent skills and a good passer of the ball. Would sit in front of the back four and disrupt opposing attacks. His game seems to be well-suited for the English game.

That is true, but the language barrier would be a bitch, and he is 26/27, iirc. Also, he seems more of a Makalele than a Bllack or Gerrard. He's a quality player, but I don't think he would fit in.

He played in Scotland so I don't think language would be such a factor. He's no Gerrard in terms of attacking options but he would provide a lot more in possession than P Neville or Butt. I can't see any reason for him to leave Milan though.

Okay willyireland, again...explain yourself. You don't like creativity in the midfield with explosiveness and tenacity. Imagine him in the central midfield and ronaldo on one of the wings....what's wrong with that picture

Okocha never looked like the sort of player who could adjust to the top level of the Premiership. Aside from a few flashes of brilliance, he hasn't done all that well at Bolton. Also I'd hardly call him creative, as he has no goals and just five assists this season. Kleberson is at least as good as Okocha, and at 31 years old by the start of next season, he wouldn't exactly be signalling a midfield revival.

Ha! WILLYireland... how original. What magic will you come up with next? How about Billy the Kid!? You're some idiot.

Sigh... here's the list... again. Feel free to cower away and not respond to it... again.

Reasons why Okocha would NOT make the ManU first team...

No, he probably wouldn't. Although "ever" is a very hard word. I would have felt it more likely, though, if Liverpool had failed to qualify. He'd have been somewhat likely to move then, I think... though perhaps in 1 more year... and while it probably wouldn't be to United... I don't think he'd want to leave England... and there are really only 2 teams here who could afford him.

I think the main players that should be looked at should be all defenders. it starts at the back. we are solid in goal, decent in midfield, maybe an upgrade here or there( no more Phillip Neville in midfield) , up fornt we should be fine with Van Nistie and saha and forlan on the bench with maybe ole or the young american kenny cooper.

in defence- we are S.H.I.T. we dont even compare to the gunners by a mile.
after rio we are ******** in the center. don't even mention Wesley Brown. he's a backup, nothing else. Steal the argie, Walter Samuel from under Real's nose, or there is mexes who we've been tracking for a while, or Lucio, Lily Thuram who is itching to leave Juve so he can play at the centre for someone, Young Hofland at PSV or Jorge andrade. hopefully two of the aforementioned defenders will be brought to strengthen the line over the summer. with rio and one of the above at center, and another of the above biding time on the bench with brown while GNev is on the right and Silvestre/O'shea is on the left i will feel so much more relieved and less scared watching our lot play. it has just been frightening to watch the defenders at the back play this season. although, bless their hearts i believe they tried their best but a couple of world class defenders are needed back there unless we can unearth a gem in the center like Kolo Toure. Thats my 2cents. Gracias.
