Shouldn't Guidolin be on the list?

Anyway I'm not too concerned either way. I know we have young talent, that we just need to pick players who value the shirt and things will be ok.

I just threw together a quick list. Besides Guidolin took a behind the scenes job in Udine. That's not to say he wouldn't drop that for the NT job..

any consideration to Donadoni part 2???

to be fair.. he had very limited experience leading up to 2008 and hes come much further along as a coach since

and even then .. they almost knocked off the eventual champs losing in shootouts WITHOUT pirlo and gattuso who were both suspended (and Cannavaro injury)

Ancelotti would be my number one pick, with conte a close second. However, I highly doubt these two would wanna walk on board right now.

Mancini is the best, of the most likely candidates. I'm not a fan of allegri, and I don't think that spaletti would improve on prandelli. I would be really upset to see zach, or capello.

Best case scenario is for prandelli to reconsider, but he seems pretty upset and I think he really wants out.

I'll tell you this as I know Antonio Conte well. No F**king way. He is way out of depth. He might be able to win in a terrible league but he has been exposed in Europe. And he is nothing but an excuse maker.

hmmm, its a tough one, im not convinced by mancini, guidolin is weak (resigned because of preasure, preasure at udinese ffs) i'd be happy with montella, probally will be between mancini and alegri, we should get zeman

    Spalletti.

It makes the most sense because he is currently looking for work, and tactically I think he is the kind of coach that can take this squad where it needs to go. Attack-minded, and fast paced, he also excels at being able to get quite a bit out of very little in terms of the quality of players at his disposal.

I know a lot of people are pushing for Ancelotti, but do you honestly think he'll walk away from a good situation for this train-wreck of a NT?

Ancelotti all the way. He's a great tourney CT. Problem is he won't walk from Madrid. I don't love any of the others.

Ideally Ancelotti. He's the best Italian coach right now.

Out of all the candidates being mentioned, I only like Spalletti. He would more or less carry on Prandelli's work.

But I'll bet big that Mancini gets it

Wonder if Spalletti is too far removed from Italian football. Euro quals only 3 months away

Ancelotti's my top choice. Next would be Montella. I would almost prefer a foreign coach with fresh ideas to someone retrograde like Allegri.

Spalletti for exactly that reason. He can take our shitty team and make us at least better than embarrassing for the next couple years while Italy (hopefully) develops better talent and improves the league.
