Just saw on the DC Boards that there is an annual sale of used game and practice gear. Used socks for $1 and around $80 for a game worn jersey.

What happens to the Revs' gear? Thrown into a dumpster? Sold? Donated to needy but extremely large children?

The Revs gave out a bunch of old practice jerseys and t-shirts at the OverDraught during the WC a couple of years ago...

    With most of their salaries?
    I'm guessing they wear them all year round...mowing the yard...dinner parties...church...to bed...etc.
Then they hand them down to their kids - heck, their names are already on them.

When I got my jersey, my husband joked that the following week I'd get pulled aside and told "uh, listen, Reebok kinda shorted us this year, we need that back..."

There've been team castoffs turning up on eBay recently.
