    3-2 :D

Goals from Jardel, Okocha and a last minute penalty from Djorkaeff. A great result just a shame it wasn't in the league.

Your lot are on a real role at the moment, good results and some great skill. If fat boy Jardel keeps banging them in you could easily be top half and could go far in the league and FA Cups.

    Okocha is superb.

Didn't go to the match - but the commentary on tower FM suggested that Jardel was rubbish after his goal and that he and Sam were mouthing off to one another -

But let's not let that take away from the victory - don't think the return to Anfield in a few weeks will be particularly easy -

It's Saints next at home in the League Cup - Sam needs to decide if he cares now - if I'm not mistaken if we make the semi-finals aren't they played over two legs (more fixtures without Okocha!)

Indeed we are, we conceed our first goals in god knows how many minute of football but score 3 in return... great :D

Jardel's not our danger man, as SYL points out he was pure wank after the goal. Davies is the true revelation this season (despite after what I said about him pre-season) Can Jardel cut it? I'm beginning to think not.

The Okocha of the last few games is a far cry from the one that played earlier in the season, it's good to have this one back. He's one of the reassons we've been turning draws into wins.

I'd happily trade this win for a scabby 1-0 at Anfield.

I'll be at the game vs the Saints, it should be good.

    Prenn,
How does this translate into cash for the club? I know Sam has pretty much quit on the cups because staying up was important in the past. Surely now they're playing games that they never would have budgeted income for.

Quite literally fuck all. Only if we win it and get into Europe do we get any kind of useful cash.

Oh well, I thought they could at least narrow their loss for the year.

A cup run wouldn't hurt but finishing just two places higher in the Prem would give us more cash overall (over £1 million)
