GALAXY PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE; FANS TO SUPPORT PLAYOFF WHITE OUT!: 2002 L.A. Galaxy playoff tickets are now available though the team’s ticket office (877-3GALAXY) or Ticketmaster outlets. The Galaxy is also asking fans to support a Playoff White Out by wearing white to all its playoff games. Tickets are available beginning with GA (Y) $10, GA (A) $15, Reserved (Y) $17, Reserved (A) $20, to Preferred $25 and can also be purchased at the gate prior to each home game. However, fans can save with the Playoff 4-Packwhich includes four reserved tickets for $69.00. Here are the Quarterfinal game date scenarios If Galaxy has home field advantage: § Wed., Sept. 25th or Thurs., Sept. 26th (Home Game #1 § Wed., Oct. 2nd (Home Game #2, If Necessary) If Opposing Team has home field advantage § Sat., Sept. 28th (Home Game #1)

True that, PZ. Really, what kind of IDIOT at MLS headquarters would schedule PLAYOFF games in the middle of the freakin' week? That's totally gonna blow, shoot I just hope I can make it from work on time. Last Wed. game vs. the Whiz, I barely made it to the Bowl. The people who will be present though, need to make their presences felt and make whoever we play fell just as uncomfortable as the Burn at Fullerton. There were only like 3000+ heads in there, yet our presence was definitely felt, esp. by Ryan Suarez, haha. Anyway, in conclusion, bad call by the league and a blow to the Galaxy, as I know that people would show up if it were scheduled differently.
Well the Wed. matches work for me cuz it's my weekend but it certainly sucks in general where the rest of the fans who work normal weekday hours will not be able to make it. I think MLS is just trying to constrict the playoff period so that they can finish the season as soon as possible.
Anybody know why they are saying Wednesday OR Thursday? It makes all the difference in the world to me - Mrs. Cadaver and I could attend Wednesday but are on a plane to Baltimore on Thursday. Sure do hope for that Wednesday night game.
MLS and the clubs schedule playoff games in the middle of the week because of stadium availibility - or lack of. Galaxy can't host a playoff game on these two Saturdays because of UCLA games: 9/21 and 10/12. Galaxy's website is selling tickets online. The dates... QF Home Game #1: Wed 9/25 QF Home Game #2: Wed 10/2 Based on the first post, if LA doesn't have home field advantage, the one and only home game would be Sat 9/28. SF Home Game #1: Sat 10/5 or Wed 10/9 SF Home Game #2: Sat 10/12* *The website doesn't indicate the game at the Rose Bowl - as it does for the other games - but at a site to be determined (UCLA is home on 10/12).
THe only way we don't get home field is if we get beat by like 18 goals (well colorado would need to make up something like an 18 goal differential).
