I'm supposed to bring some white wine sangria to a dinner party tomorrow night.

Does anyone have a good recipe that they would share with me? Otherwise I'm gonna have to leave BigSoccer and go to some other web sites and that's always scary.

We used to have gingerale and sherbet punch after church (that's the same thing, right?)

Just found this one online and looks simple (don't even need to do tonight to let sit)

    WHITE SANGRIA

    1 small lemon, sliced thin
    1 small orange, sliced thin
    3 T. granulated sugar
    1 peach, peeled, sliced thin
    1/4 C. peach schnapps
1 (750 ml) bottle white wine, chilled

Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher. Stir the sangria until the sugar is dissolved. Chill for 1 hour.

Strain the sangria into wine glasses and garnish with strawberries and sliced kiwifruit. (I'd omit this part or just toss sliced strawberries into the mix above).

    Indeed.

As it turns out, this is what I wound up doing:

    - Cut up a bunch of fruit - purple seedless grapes, halved (I would have used green seedless but the ones in the store were terrible), thin slices of lemon, lime, orange and kiwi

    - I soaked the fruit in a combination of rum and citrus-flavored vodka for a few hours (really shoulda been overnight but I didn't have that much time)

    - right before serving I combined the fruit and liquor with pinot grigio (?) and simple syrup until it was almost sweet enough and then I topped it off with a little bit of sprite.

There was none left at the end of the evening.

Sadly, there was no lsd at all. Dammit.

Thanks for go to Vicar for his ideas.
