http://blog.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/ Steven Goff, on his Soccer Insider blog, mentioned today that Jeremiah White received an inadvertant strike to the face during a friendly, resulting in several fractures. Apparently surgery was performed today and he will be out 6 weeks. While he won't miss many matches because the season doesn't restart until March, it still will put him far behind schedule. I hate this for Jeremiah. I imagine his exprience in the national team camp this winter pumped him out and I looked forward to seeing how the experience pays off. It will, I believe, just later than expected due to injury. See if Bradley had kept in camp this won't have happened! Now that I said that it's better to happen for club than country because we know how clubs react when players come back from international duty hurt!
