I'm kind of lost here Mike last time I checked Beckham was English so he doesn't count as a non EU player and Ronaldo has had a spanish passaport for years.

Do yourself a favour and read the rules about non EU players in La Liga.

According to www.yanks-abroad.com, Jamil has played for the Dutch on a youth squad but is petitioning FIFA to change his affiliation so that he can one day play for the US

So far there are few US young players I like:

    1. Benny Feilhaber--breaking in first team of Hamburg FC. Playing a center midfielder role. Born in Rio, moved to USA very young. Have the typical characters of American players, like work rate, etc., but also has Brazilian style of flair. He will be a upgrade of Reyna or O'Brien.

    2. Johan Smith--so far played in EPL against Manchester United for some sub time and need some more time to break into Bolton's starting/main subs. Played as forward partner with Boghatti. A more skilled Eddie Johnson.

    3. Josemor Altidore--only 16, this kid is REAL deal.

You mean taking over Borgetti's slot as the 4th forward in Bolton's first team ;) . He's the reason they send Borgetti to some Arab league.

Some updates on the Young Yanks Abroad taken from Namdynamo list - only the ones I know or seen play

    -
Bradley has quickly found his way into the starting lineup. Doing good with SCH

Feilhaber Benny 1985 Hamburger SV Germany - With Hamburg getting riddled with injuries it gave Benny the chance to jump in. Wasted no time to impress and has started Champions League/Bundesliga games for Hamburg. He has matured incredibly in the little time hes been asked to play.

Johnson Jemal 1985 Wolverhampton Wanderers England -Jemal has been dangerous for the Wolves but I think he only has 4 goals so far.

Nguyen Lee 1986 PSV Eindhoven Holland - Just doing reserve work for now

Ochoa Sammy 1986 Tecos Mexico -maybe someone that watches the MFL can fill in

Rossi Giuseppe 1987 Manchester United England - :D

Smith Johann 1987 Bolton Wanderers England - Has made the bench for Bolton but I don't expect him to play until those worthless English cup start

Spector Jonathan 1986 West Ham United England - Johny has been one of the few bright spots for the struggling West Ham. Full starter.

Adu is training with ManU right now. Their are reports hes been rejected and other reports that his trial has gone terrific and other reports Adu has rejected Manu for RM. /shruggs

Altidore started some games and even the playoffs for RedBulls. Looked pretty good for a 17yr old.

    Wynne is gonna be amazing

Cooper looked great but for his position Ching is still better

and theirs more which I can't keep up with. Im not gonna get into our guys playing in Reserve Youth B teams. Just too much work ;/

Well, he's sort of stuck right now, he was getting some minutes earlier this year and even scored, but for the Apertura tournament he was demoted to the Primera A filial, still a decent level but definetly not first division. On Primera A he plays more than with the first team and last time I checked he had three goals which is decent considering he doesn't play every match in Primera A and sometimes he got called to the bench of the first division team.
Still he's young and should get other chances in the future.

The term "Dutch" applies to people from Netherlands/Holland.
In case you're referring to Denmark (where Fearrington has played his whole life), the term you're looking for is "Danish".

C'mon do a little research, Luis Landín is a 21 year old Mexican striker that plays for Pachuca in the Mexican first division.

Landín was mentioned only a few post behind, Landon hasn't received a mention in a while.
