    3 in fact so far:

    Ron Paul
    Sam Brownback
    Barack Obama

    What are they supporting?

How can anyone not support that? Why have only 3 candidates stepped up to support it?

Not to mention it passed unanimously in the Senate, so I don't really understand your point?

It's a lose-lose situation. There's no way, even if they suceed, that they can succeed to such an extent to where all people of both parties will think they have fulfilled their promise.

Because counting isn't your strong point?

Incorrect. I'm quite good at counting.

The pledge goes beyond the act that the Senate passed unanimously, so they are not equivalent.

Also, a unanimous vote, unless it was a roll call vote, doesn't mean all 100 Senators supported the measure, just that none objected strongly enough to make an effort to slow down a bill with such strong support.
