I read about one guy going to Portugal. But I was wondering if any one else has left because there had been a lot of talk about if before.

ok, thanks. Just wondering because they have so many talented players I figured clubs would be fighting over their players. Perhaps more will happen in the summer.

well teams want other players but well try to hang on to them - such is life at AJAX

a few of the wanted and (in order) the most likely destination (later rather than sooner hopefully)

chivu - man u, real, inter, ac milan, barcelona
van der vaart - liverpool, barcelona, juventus
zlatan - roma, juventus, man u
van der meyde - newcastle, barcelona
    van damme - inter
    o'brien - barcelona
mido - juventus, bayern munich, roma

chivu and mido have tired of talking about any move
    &
VDV say he wants to play 1 or 2 more season at AJAX
    but
zlatan maybe hard to hold on to

chivu is most likely to join Madrid next season.
vd Vaart is most likely to stay if Ajax don't ************ up (they better not or there's gonna be trouble - unless vd vaart is not as innocent as we think). If he goes he is most likely to go to SPAIN. Not England. He never even mentioned England. Just Spain.

Roma want Zlatan... so what? Roma is a 2nd grade team that no Ajax player should want to be at. Besides, their president is on some kind of drugs and nobody listens to what he says.

vd meyde is not going anywhere as far as I know. Hasn't proved that much either, except that he can become a very good player. But so far he's not.

Van Damme is not going anywhere and certainly not Inter. Where do you get this idea? Probably from those BS Italian sportspapers. You're lucky when the date on the frontpage is correct.

O Brien isn't going anywhere yet. Injured players have a hard time moving up you know. Never heared of any serious interest for him either.

Mido... nobody wants him. Why would they? He has shown what he can do. Now it's time for him to start doing it. Seems to be eager to prove himself at Ajax, has said how great the group and trainer are and that he feels Ajax might be back on the road to glory. Don't think he's going anywhere for some time.

Two or three sources, including Ajax Netwerk.to and AT5, are reporting that defender-midfielder Ovidiu Petre, a 20 year-old Romanian currently playing at National Bucharest, will be taken on loan for a price of $200,000 . The loan is said to run thru the end of the season.Said reports also say Ajax will then have an option to sign the player to a 4 year deal. The second on-trial Romanian ,Vlad Munteanu(left wing/left midfielder)was reportedly returned to his team,Dinamo Bucharest ,I believe.

yeah petre is officially in the fold - odd, i thought munteanu was more impressive - guess not

chivu is most likely to join Madrid next season

so far roma are the only team to actually start officially asking about him + CC seems to have taken a sour attitude towards real at some point

    Roma want Zlatan... so what?

well he likes the idea some so...id hate to lose him

as far as the teams listed, those are just some who have gone on the record as admitting interest

i.e., apparently van damme turned inter heads in the second CL meeting, barca have spoken often of o'brien, mido and juve blew kisses at each other in the press last year, etc.

by no means did i put anybody up for sale nor do i think everyone (or anyone for that matter) listed is on the way out

    only two things are clear:
1- we cant take every european soundbyte at full face value &
2- as i said before...such is life at AJAX - they have always been a high end boutique for europe's glamour sides - sadly, they will all leave eventually

i just pray that we get 2 good CL shots with the current nucleus intact - could be boys club '95 all over again

well now the petre deal is off

bucharest prez says there was a misunderstanding and he wants a straight 1Mpound transfer, but AJAX said no, but they might move for him in the summer instead
