New stadiums in the league next year: Portland -- renovated PGE Park (will likely have new name) Vancouver -- renovated BC Place Kansas City -- brand spanking new, state of the art stadium (does it have a name yet?) I think all three will be great additions to the league. I think Portland will have the best atmosphere, Vancouver the most fans, and Kansas City the most sex appeal. Which are you most excited about?
Portland. The stadium is goign to be different and interesting, and the established fanbase will be good for atmosphere. Hopefully they get a few games on national TV. Despite having no rooting interest, i'm pretty psyched to watch Timbers vs. Seattle.
Easy for me: Kansas City. - Brand spanking new - natural grass - looks different from all the other SSS. - no football co-tenant But I am looking forward to seeing the other two teams in their refurbished stadia. Bring on 2011 already!
Definitely Kansas City, mostly because that fanbase had to put up with playing in a ballpark. It's the same reason that I am hoping that the Quakes get their own SSS too, I definitely think their fans and team deserve it. A close second is Vancouver's, but I am definitely excited about PGE Park, it looks really nice so far. With that said, I definitely feel like a stadium nerd. How much time can I really spend reading and looking at photos about stadiums?
1. Portland - Will have the most amazing atmosphere in the league other than Sounders. 2. KC - That stadium sureeeee looks sexy. 3. Vancouver - I like their jersey's, what else is there to say?
I'm hoping for a collapse of the field at Portland into the sewer that runs underneath and a roof collapse at Vancouver that kills a lot of people
how can we vote on them, they are not finished no one seen them yet, but i like the idea of the Dome in Vancouver.....rain .......shine...snow All works .
Excited most for Kansas stadium. Im more excited for Portland and their supporters, but their stadium is meh. I don't know what to expect from Vancouver fans and their stadium.
Kansas City. That place looks amazing from what i've seen. I never really wanted to go to Kansas City but now i do so i can see the new place. Then Portland cause i like the old time vibe its got.
I was happy to hear that Houston will be getting a new stadium but I remember reading somewhere a while back that it will be a shared stadium with TCU football. Is this still true? I surely hope not, because that means field turf and permanent football lines.
