u mean who is the us next to (unfortunately) popularity wise in the states. mexico. thats an easy one.
Please. This is a message board, not text messaging. "You" not "u". If English is your first language, please use it properly. If I undestand what you are asking, you want to know what overseas-based U.S. national team player soccer fans would like to see return to MLS next. Is that correct? If so, I don't think that there is any particular call for any player to return. The suspicion is that Kasey Keller will return if Seattle is granted an expansion team in 2006. EDIT: Ah. You want to know - other than the United States - what national team is popular in the United States. That would be Mexico. Nobody else is close.
I took it to mean what National Team do US fans have as their 2nd favorite, but I'm probably wrong, but if that's the question the answer is not Mexico.
if the answer is looking for who do I like seeing the US kick the crap out of that would be Mexico. If the answer is who I would like to see play besides the US that would be England.
Mexico is the most popular. Of the US MNT games I've been to, I've felt as though half the supporters were of hispanic origins.
Nice to see anti-intellectualism run amok. Remember to ask if they want fries with that before you take their money.
Actually, you see, it's the language nazis whom you need to ask to lighten up. Those who are not language nazis should already be cool. Grammar and comprehension both matter.
Based on the above spelling of the word popular, I would have to aswer that France is ze next populair.
Patoi's, jargon, dialects are all great. But there's a reason that the bearded dishevelled serial killer one sees arrested on the news shows up in court in a a suit and well manicured. If you're trying to make an argument in an online discussion, your point is taken more seriously if you can actually form a coherent sentence. Everyone screws up grammar and spelling, but deliberate and consistant mistakes undermines credibility. Even the punks in A Clockwork Orange spoke proper English when they interacted with authorities. U can txt on ur fone, coz its kewl, but if you want folks to pay attention to to your point around here, please use proper English. On a phone "u" is a time/money saver. Online it's lazy.
seriously, dude, lighten up. i was making a joke... remember your post? "Please. This is a message board, not text messaging. "You" not "u". If English is your first language, please use it properly." you sounded a tad pompous there, and i was just messing with you. no need for personal attacks. and hold the pickles, please. by the way, sorry about the lack of capitalization.
A lot of people seem to support England as well. Most of the people here who don't follow soccer seem to think England is the best soccer team. It gets really annoying.
some PPL need to get a life if they are getting their panties in a bunch over others writing u instead of you. anyway i would say mexico is the most popular team in the country, followed by the u.s., although that is not always the case. depending on where you live many teams could be the most popular. here in miami you could easily argue that brazil, hondurus, colombia, venezuela, haiti, and jamaica are just as, more, or almost as popular as the u.s. from what i understand, in other places like chicago poland is the fav, then there are irish communities in areas such as new york. so i guess like i said earlier, the only 2 that are definites nationwide are the US and Mexico. after that it is anyone's guess.
