disagree, just b/c he didnt fulfill a forward role doesnt mean he wasnt a forward.... BB put forth a 4-4-2 that included a solid target man and a speedy player who happens to be our leading nats goal scorer.... just b/c he didnt do well up top doesnt mean he wasnt a forward..

I wont vote. I think we can beat any team you named and they can beat us. Sweden would be the toughest in my opinion.

Did you watch the game against Ecuador 2 years ago or are you just picking up teams that have one once or twice in the last few months and just throw them out there so you can say Bob Bradley sucks? Yeah great, we look ordinary away from home but Argentina just got their asses beat against a shitty ass Bolivia team whom we can probably beat at home 6-0 or 7-0.

There is no doubt we looked great at home two years ago against Ecuador's B team with Landy having a career performance. If we played Ecuador in the WC in South Africa (a meaningful game at a neutral site), I don't like our chances at all. Have you seen Ecuador play lately with their full team? Have you seen us play anyone outside of the US lately?

LOL.. Not that the Argentines' performance means anything to the US, but we would also get crushed at Bolivia, playing at 12,000 feet above sea level. If we look terrible at ES, we would look MUCH worse at 12,000 feet above sea level in Bolivia. Also, we would NOT beat Bolivia at home 6-0 or 7-0. We scored three against T&T and will likely struggle against Honduras in 2 months.

Yeah, they (Ecuador) has some bad losses this cycle.5-0 to Brazil, 5-1 to Paraguay,1-0 to Venezeula,2-1 to Honduras, not counting all the drubbings Mexico put on them.

That's why I picked Australia. Also they do a good job of picking apart Asian teams away. Japan were lucky to draw Australia in Tokyo, and really, they are one of the best teams on the road. Talented players who are also extremely gritty.

I could see Australia playing in front of a pro-US partisan crowd in Columbus and getting a result.

Wrong, that was on the end of the last cycle. The coach wasn't getting along with the players anymore. Check the results since the change of coach. First result since a new era of players and coach. In Argentina, Argentina 1-1 Ecuador. Something the us could never achieve.

That shitty ass Bolivia team had recently tied Brazil 0-0 in Brazil in a meaningful WC qualifier. I cannot imagine us accomplishing the same feat.

No you are wrong, check the facts before you tell someone that they are wrong. Set the time range from August 06(when this cycle started, their WC qualifying started Oct.13, 2007) to April 2009. All the I matches listed fall in this cycle.

If Boliva, Peru, Ecuador could get a result, then we could too.

Oh yeah, no question i think the Aussies with their euro-based players and if they don't play defensively could beat the US in any venue.

They also got the crap kicked out of them against Mexico, the same one they beat. But you're right, I'm sure we'd fare the same way or worse against Mexico too.

Could the USA beat the USA if they played each other?

i saw that you posted and instinctively thought you would be bashing BB... shocker

however, playing along: well seeing as its US v US, i would assume BB is coaching both teams

If that is the case, I think the home team would win easily.

    Nice prediction.
