Which influential player would you want in your side?

None are perfect... Gerrard has too many fitness problems, Keane has some serious personal problems, and Viera is a little subdued sometimes. Hmmm... I'll take Viera.

 

Well, we already have Gerrard, so I'll add Viera.
Murphy, Veira, Hamann, and Gerrard. That midfield would never be outplayed.

 

Of these, Viera. Without a doubt.

 

If by "influential" you mean aggressive and likely to be sent off I would choose Viera.

 

Coin toss between Gerrard and Vieira. I would never let that scum bastard Roy Keane pull on a white shirt.

Despite injury and fitness, SG would be my pick. Keane is a screwball and is getting up there in age, and the refs have it out for Viera already.

 

In order I'd like Blackburn to have:
1. Didi Harmann
2. Patrck Viera
3. Steven Gerrard
4. Roy Keane.

Gerrard is 3rd becasue of injuries, and Keane has just lost his mind and will be a liability as a player and a person.

so we are limiting this only to midfielders that are currently playing in the EPL? If I could pick any midfielders that I wanted to be influential I would probably take either nedved valeron or zidane but from the epl i would probably take viera

 

IMHO Keane is the best I like Gerrard but i wouldn't want him to be at Man Utd, since he's a Liverpool player, same with Vieira. We gotta keep all these player rivalries alive

Any way, If i could add someone to the Man Utd midfield, which is already pretty decent (imho the best, despite veron) it would be probably Luis Enrique, Rafeal van der Vaart or Marc van Bommel. Enrique would be a slight gamble possibly, Rafeal would be fantastic, while van Bommel alongside Keane or Butt would be interesting. Of course, i might also look at people like Davids and Nedved. Zidane i think is overrated slightly and i wouldn't want him coming in wih his reputation alone and knocking scholes out the side...
