Anyone know yet which hotel is the Mexican team staying at? We are going to the game, and would like to give them a nice welcome to the Columbus game. I think last time they stayed at the airport Marriott.

Lets show them our support :)

    Also, is PM still around?

Nothing shows our support for them like the fire alarm at 2:00AM!

    :D

"...In another effort to change their luck, he's also changed the team's usual accommodations; normally Mexico has bunked up in a hotel on the outskirts of town but this time he's booked them right smack downtown...

Gentlemen now now. We should take the upper road. Lets not act like a holes.Like they do in Mexico City. Btw the Mexicans are not happy about the away leg being a mid week affair. It means they can't start the game at noon like they want.;)

You're right. Instead of the 2:00AM wakeup call, how about an all night rally at the hotel. At least they would know there are fans that LOVE them. ;)

On behalf of those who can't attend the festivities, I think a phone number would be helpful :)

    Absolutely!

Here is the info from a poster on the Bill Archer page (see 3rd post above)

"As the gentleman below has noted, although you didn't hear it from me, the word is that they are at the Westin Columbus, on South High Street, (614) 228-3800 in case you want to say hi to anyone there.

I'm also told that they are secretly practicing over at Spindler Park, an out-of-the-way venue on the Northwest Side. Sven is trying hard to keep people from finding out since while it's a pretty obscure venue there's no way to keep people away from the fields."

If anyone can verify this, it would really help. Those of you who are local, you can start paying your respects early on throughout the week :)

We will not be able to start our festivities until Tuesday afternoon/evening. Anyone want to coordinate with me, just let me know. I still remember PM for past world cup qualifiers for Mexico, Costa Rica, etc... we're a lot of fun.

Couldn't they rent out OSU or another central Ohio university's soccer field?

I know, I guess we'll have to stick to throwing beer when they come near the corner flag like normal civilized humans with honor and pride.

Ahem. As was stated in 2005:
The first rule of Project Mayhem is no talking about Project Mayhem.

That is, if Project Mayhem even existed. Which it doesn't.

I just drove past the practice field. There were only two cars there but saw someone in a green tri coat walking toward the fenced in field. By the way, they do have a cop at the entrance to the parking lot.
