Off the top of my head you can add Alexandre Alphonse, Therry Racon, Stephane Zubar, Cedric Avinel, Ludovic Sylvestre, and Sylvain Distin. Also, Pascal Chimbonda got his only France cap in May of 2006 so the five years should have passed just in time for him to represent Guadeloupe (again) should both parties choose. Mickael Sylvestre's five years would have passed after June 23rd.
Pascal Chimbonda? But this guy is capable by himself of making us lose a match! Yes i can tell you this guy is capable of the worst! For the rest, it's true our coach Roger Salnot will spoiled for choice!
He's not so bad, maybe not EPL standard anymore but most of the players in the Gold Cup aren't either. On paper that is probably the best defense in CONCACAF if they all show up...and imagine if William Gallas could play as well. I think the weak spot is up front where there are no really prolific goal scorers. Antoine-Curier is hot and cold and doesn't have a club (and hasn't played in the Caribbean Cup so far), Collet is more of a winger, Socrier hasn't represented Guadeloupe going on four years now, Gotin has done very well for Guadeloupe but mostly against weaker teams, Alexandre Alphonse is a pretty good player and has played in the Champions League so maybe he is the best bet, maybe paired with Loic Loval who is at roughly the same level as Socrier. Louis Saha and the thief of Saint Denis are not eligible but they would also be good options (though Saha has had a terrible season and I can't support a team that has Le Cheat).
They should aim for Gabriel Obertan. That would be interesting...or Jonathan Biabiany. but to be more realistic... Loïc Nestor would be a good call-up, and Aurelien's brother, Ettien.
