I would love to have Chungy. Best at what he does in the league. Consistantly good.

    Lalas... lol

Seriously, either Chung or Brad Davis due to our lack of left wingers.

Manny Lagos. And Edson Buddle, who was never a Metro but goddamnit should've been but instead we took Kerwyn Jemmott in the third round of the '01 Superdraft ahead of local boy and LI Roughriders product Buddle.

Great moment in Metro draft history: The three guys taken after Jemmott were, in order, Buddle, Ziadie, and Jim Curtin.

    Chung in a hey-second.

    Either he, or Chung.

Probably go for Chung, though, of the two.

I'll be honest with you, Zach Thornton. I like Johnny Walker, but with Thornton between the pipes, we would have such a calming presence.

I thought I was the only Chung fan -- or is this just a setup for the stalker?

Well, I guess having a slightly better then par player in Jolley is better then having a mediocre defender in Petke?

i never liked Petke that much in the 1st place. im surprised its almost unanimously Chung and Davis. especially since Davis got a lot of criticism for no defense and supposedly being a dick. but these 2 guy immediately sprang to my mind as top choices too....
    right behind Steve Shak.
(even his name sounds like he was born to be a joke.)

Brad Davis may be a nice pick up but the guy is always hurt..in one game out for another three..we don't need that..might as well ask Tab to come back and play.

I'd say the one who walked away was Chung...he's a very rare find in the MLS... or I would say Wynalda..he could of been the gun we needed for a few years..If Eric caught on with us I really think he would of been the poacher we needed in the late 90's.

    Tab Ramos...but a 2000 Ramos...

Maybe Valencia...we need his abilty to creat goals out of nothing. Comas, who came off the bench, played better then any of our forwards for the past 2 years.

Ran into Brian Kelly outside Giants Stadium before the first leg of our playoff series vs. NE. He is working for Goldman Sachs and seems to be doing quite well. Basically said it was time to grow up and earn some money. HE had some hillarious stories about what an idiot Bora was along with Sorber. Miles is living in Saratoga NY now.

Forget about Edson, how about Martino, we have the pick #3 in 2002 and leave Martino to be selected in the # 8.

Chung was one of the most consistently solid players we had I hated to see him go.Also I was hoping Tab would have changed his mind and come back for one more year. I know that he was plagued with injuries, also I thought it was shi**y for such a great player to end his career at the end of such a *#*#*#*#*# season. He deserved a championship.
