It seems to be that Coelho is trying to develop a fixed one-top formation with Choi YS at the frontline.. Temporary or not, I really do not think the players suit this style. Too much reliance is then fallen onto Yong-Soo's finishing, which is absolutely dismal for internationals compared to his giant performances in the J-league.

I think a 4-4-2 lineup should be formed with:
    at the back--
    Cho BG
    Kim TY
    Lee YP
    Song
    midfield--
    Yoo
    Kim NI
    Lee CS
    Park JS
    forwards--
    Ahn
    Seol

    Formation...

Well, every game I seen them play in the WC and friendlies since then, they got this unconventional, 4-3-3 or a 3-4-3 formation at times.

I know that Guus H. loved having 3 strikers in the WC from what I saw, but I am not sure on what this new coach of theirs really has a set plan or is just trying to find the best one. But the makeup of their players would dicate a more aggresive, out-score them mentality which would favor the 3 striker setup.

My favourite is 3-4-3, I think it's the best system for our side. 4-3-3 should work as well.

    GK: Lee Woon-Jae
Defenders: Hyun Young-min, Cho Byung Guk, Kim Tae Young.
    Midfielders: Lee Young-pyo, Yoo Sang-chul, Kim Nam-il, Song Jung-guk
Forwards: Seol Ki-Hyeon, Ahn Jung-hwan, Lee Chun soo.

Advantage of 3-4-3 is that it can change from 5-4-1 to 1-4-5 on the dime.
