McBean, JOB, Lewis, Kirovski, Sanneh? What kind of mix do you think we'll see?

I would say it would be an all MLS team, no need to bring those guys over.

Agreed. I highly doubt any Yanks abroad will get any nat'l action until the Confederations Cup in France. No need for them to make the trip, we're better off letting the MLS players fight out there. Besides, it's better to have these guys in camp and in the friendlies instead of on a couch, while our gents abroad are training and playing.

I believe it's an international window. I also doubt Bruce wants a team that hasn't played together representing us in the Confederations Cup. We'll get smoked IMO. I think we'll see McBride and Lewis, possibly JOB also. I wonder if "Stevie the Wonder Boy" or any of the younger defenders will get a call though?

I really don't see any reason why Arena wouldn't field some Euro players. There would be at least a few training with them. We've been fielding all young MLS players, who aren't bad at all, but they still need to learn a few thing from the Euro players.
If he does, it will be highest rated US friendly ever, even if he doesn't get off the bench.

i doubt we'll see any of our top players but i wouldn't be surprised if casey, cherundolo, gibbs or some other young euros are called in. if it's an international date i don't see why a couple of them won't get a look from bruce.

I think you guys have wishful thinking on this one. I wouldn't expect to see any Euro players. I mean, flying into Jamaica and flying into Seattle, what's the difference in terms of flying distances? Don't get your hopes up, most of the guys abroad are involved in serious battles for either the Champion's League(JOB), relegation(Berhalter, Cherundolo, Casey, Gibbs) or trying to fight for a spot(Onyewu with Metz). A meaningless friendly during their season on the other side of the world isn't likely to entice them.

Thank you wanderer. If Keller's there, I wouldnt be surprised, he's still trying to win the job back. Any other Euro player doesnt make sense. International window or not, its pointless for them. Look:

    Reyna- obviously hurt
JOB- just training again, no chance
McBride- trying to adjust to England still, no way he comes back over for Japan
Friedel- he's dealing with leg injuries, no way he comes over, especially if Keller is
Sanneh- in a relegation battle, no way
    Churundolo/Gibbs/Casey- I doubt it

If Keller wants to be there, go ahead and use him. Also, doesn't McBride's loan agreement end on April 1? If Everton doesn't make a move to keep him, it wouldn't be a surprise for BMB to be there.

Evertons last game before McBrides loan spell is March 22 against Arsenal. If the loan isn't extended, he'll be back for the Japan game, if Arena want's to use him.

i wouldn't expect any euros for seattle

that's a damn long trip for one meaningless game...

why should we bring any euros in? they should be focusing on their club team, improving their skills and their cahnces to start the next match

not being shipped halfway around the globe to play in some meaningless friendly

It's also only the 2nd chance Keller will have to play in front of his hometown crowd in Seattle (Honduras last year was the other). I'm sure that's part of it as well.

It'll be GREAT to see Keller back in the nets for the Red, White & Blue, provided that Arena does call him in!!!

I hope to see McHead, Lewis, Sanneh, O'Brien, Cherundolo & Casey in Seattle.

However, don't bet on many of them, if any.

O'Brien, I believe, is still recovering from a recent injury and the club managers in Europe many not be too keen on letting their players come to the USA for a friendly.

Hopefully, I'm wrong & we can some of our WC2002 heroes, LIVE!!!!

McBride probably, Lewis maybe, Reyna injured, Sennah just had surgery (I think?), Cherundalo and Casey I have no idea.

Keller also told Sportsticker that he expects to appear in the national team's friendly against Japan on March 29 in Seattle at Seahawks Stadium. The Washington native last played in his hometown at Safeco Field against Honduras in March 2002.

    Expect Keller there! :)
