For the same reason I have some affinity toward QPR, Cardiff, Carlisle, and Stabia.

Not to derail the thread but I'm also looking for a championship team.
Preferably one not in Manchester so they won't be rivals with United if they get promoted, and a team in the playoffs.

I'm a big Fulham supporter and unfortunately after Jol's calamity the past 3 seasons, Fulham is back in the championship. although I realize most don't consider them a championship outfit anymore.

After watching green street hooligans at least 20 times over the past 8 years, Millwall has got to be a team you support for fun if your honestly searching for a championship side to support and don't care who it is!! Run out today and buy a poster of the den in South Bermondsey and put it up in your cubicle. Thread closed!!!!

Yup Millwall is the team to watch if you want humor because at least one guy runs on the pitch every game. :D

Where is the best place to listen to Championship League games online? Is there a BBC broadcast?

    Thanks!

I saw Bournemoth several times on TV a few years ago. Now I see they are leading the Championship. Never knew they were quite that good. I always liked their specific colors.

It's difficult even for us Brits to listen to games due to regional restrictions etc never mind overseas fans, a lot of clubs do their own match commentary if you subscribe to their website, I don't think it's guaranteed though.

Most of us Brits just watch BBC Final Score or Sky Sports News Soccer Saturday (streams are usually available on online) where they basically keep you up to date with all of the scores and have pundits describing key moments in matches etc.

Sky Soccer Saturday coverage is generally better and funnier than BBC, Chris Kamara is legendary for his reporting.

Thanks for responding. I'll look for those outlets. Wonder if my satellite provider has those stations.

No problem, I doubt you'll get coverage in the USA. :)

I would just look out for Soccer Saturday streams online...... there's always loads knocking around come Saturday 3pm (GMT) and it's the best way to follow all of the matches live.

I ended up subscribing to Forest Player to support Nottingham.

Absolutely no idea why! Truly a case of the team picking me.

I just recommended that in your other post, I didn't realise it was you until just now.

    Enjoy. :)

P.S. Every now and then you should able to view them streamed online but it depends on whether a TV station is broadcasting their match.

I even ordered a couple of Forest jerseys. They were having a screaming deal on their site I got each one for about $20 each with badges over the weekend!

Hopefully they won't get crushed by Derby this weekend.
