Can anyone identify which Argentine player hit the post in last weeks game? I believe he wore #19 and was the same player who forced the amazing save from Tim Howard a few minutes later.

    Just curious. Thanks.

    I think it was Insua.

Although he looked very similar, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Insua.

The problem was that Ty and Rob didn't know who he was either. Or at least they didn't bother to mention his name.

Q: Which Argentine player hit the post?
A: The one Danny Califf was supposed to be marking.

Thanks, guys. And it looks like it was a different player, Cesar Garignano, who forced the big save out of Howard.

Did anyone notice how he shook Howard's hand after he made the save? A classy exchange between two pros.

I watched the game a couple times and Califf had a good game, everyone on this board seems to have it in for him for some reason... sure he has limitations but is a good YOUNG central defender who has had two good performences in a row

I may be one of those whom you claim "has it out for Califf". But, I don't think it is reasonable to say ANY of our defenders had a good game against Argentina; certainly not in the first twenty-five minutes atleast.

I totally agree. I , for one, never liked him, but he had an absolutely excellent game. Enough so so I must realy reassess my opinion of him.

    It was Diego Milito...

Counting on Rob and Ty to know anything is a miracle!
