I can't find one reference to Claudio's injury on the Red Bull web page.
So why is he out now?

The Monday Morning 10Shirt was wondering the same thing today:

He was sitting in the stands around Section 134 after hafltime. He was surrounded by fawning fans chanting "Let's Go Red Bulls!". None of them appeared to be over the age of ten, however, and it is highly likely that they were his kids. ;) I didn't see anyone ask for an autograph or even befriend him.

I think we all knew that Reyna would probably wind up only playing in about 15-20 games this year, but that's kind of messed up about missing a game because of a light practice held the day before.

He's missed about 40% of the games so far, so I'd say he's on track to meet expectations for the season.

It's even less than that if you include the USOC (and it would be 33.333... ;)).

Plus, I kind of think he would have played both of the times he's been out if the games were on grass and not in a, you know, monsoon. They're being careful, and I hope there comes a time later this year when we're all grateful that he's available because of it.
