    I was just looking at the roster for the MetroStars on their site and didn't see Diallo on their roster. I also don't see him on the roster on MLSNET, but, I don't remember seeing him be traded. Am I wrong? Was he sold or traded?

    He was sold to Al-Alhi in the United Arab Emirates (at least I believe that's where the club is). He's had a recurring injury but is trying to get his fitness back for their season.

    He did go to Al-Alhi but they recently released him. I guess hes just looking for a place to play now. But that guy is really a waste of space.

    No they didn't. It was falsely reported in the press that he was released but he wasn't.

    He just missed a couple of games due to injury.

    He is very much still with the team.

    Last I heard, he is looking into a MLS return or/and an A-League team. He has a family now. When he was in Tampa, his first daughter was born. We are glad to have a job, or a least our parents have/had jobs when they were raising us. I'm sad to hear people being so happy of seeing him unemployed.

    Didnt he win thug player of the year in MLS a couple of times? I remember he stepped on intentilly a couple goalkeepers and received red cards.

    Yeah, when you have a guy like Carlos Valderrama serving you the ball almost like a gift even me and you can score in MLS.

    Result:

    Diallo=Valderrama

    No Valderrama= No Diallo

    I would think that an MLS team would be interested in him for a free transfer and for somewhere around $100,000 per year- perhaps Colorado, KC, Chi, DC.

    Colorado did have a chance to pick him up and Hankinson - his former coach, nixed the idea.

    I don't think Diallo wants to come back to MLS whether any team is interested or not.

    He felt MLS screwed him over by not loaning him to a French club before the World Cup so he could be seen by his National Team coach.

    The damage was done then. Notice how soon after the season he was transferred?
    He wanted out, MLS wanted to get rid of him.

    I don't either of them want each other back.
