Red Bulls lost Miazga, and Drogba's motivation has to be questioned at this point. I think we'll be first.
Depends on what is done with Kamara! With him and him Happy, first place. Without or him pissed, not so good!
Yea it would suck for a contending team's best striker to contemplate retirement and hold out of any portion of preseason camp.
I understand that so many things can happen in an athletes career so it is important to make as much money as possible, because you aren't getting any younger. However Kei is 31 I believe. So he has 4-5 more years if everything goes well. If he scores another 15+ this year and the Crew make a run Kei would have the power going into negotiations. The Crew now want to lock down down their big scorer with an extension and Kei gets paid according to production across 2 years. Either way if he proves that he wasn't a one year wonder at forward someone will splash big bucks.
I think it goes Energy Drinks first, DC second, us third, and then we beat them both in the playoffs en route to another MLS Cup victory.
Yeah, of any of the Liga MX sides that could be beat in this thing, that was one that should have been. I still do not like the timing of it all but where do you put the blame...most would say MLS for not getting on a standard calendar or...?
I'm comparing how DC looked compared to how the other three MLS entrants looked. Their offense especially looked weak.
First. First borderline going away. This team has a vast amount to time under a proven system. They are as good or better at every position as they were at the start of last year. They have something to prove. They are going to come out hot and keep it going.
I'm chugging the Kool-Aid from the get go this season. I'll also point out that were involved in no champions league matches this use US Open Cup, in addition to MLS. Unlike some of the other top clubs in the league. For me, it all comes down to how well that back four comes together. But I'm more confident going into this season than I've been since 2009.
