If I feel like getting out of the house, where are people going to watch the games?

I remember you - you came into the CBF forum some time ago.

I used to live in Chicago - but I do not know the Brazil stomping grounds there. The best thing to do would be to actually be pro-active and go to a Brasil Store. You know them because they have the Flag of Brasil flying outside of the store shops (green, yellow and blue). Just ask some of the old timers there where a good Brazilian bar is or something - something tells me that the Brasileiro population is outside of Chicago probably on the North shore or Northwest side. But I'm not sure. I remember when I lived there heavy Mexican population in Mundelien area.

FWIW, I'm going to bug the guys at BW-3 on Lincoln and Montana to switch one of the 30 or so TVs to the US match on Saturday afternoon....

I HATE BW-3 they are really jerks about turning on anything they don't want to watch (i.e. Sox and Soccer). That being said, it is hard to pass up their tasty wings on Tuesday for 30 cents.

Go to www.foxsportsworld.com and check out their pub guide (bottom right hand corner) for soccer friendly bars in Chicago. Remember you are competing with mid-season baseball and many bars will refuse to put on soccer. Of course they may be more accommodating for Brazilian Girls than Polish Guys.
