Hey...im planning on going to the Galaxy opener, and have a quick question..

Normally when i go to games, i get stuck next to quiet people who are always sitting, and cant have real fun at the game..

This time i want to sit near/in the Riot Squad/Galaxians/etc. fan groups because every time i go there, they all seem to be having a blast chanting, etc..which is exactly what i want to do at a game..

Can anyone tell me what some good sections are for this type of a crowd?

    Thanks

Take a chance and stand with the Squad. Just this once, test it out and if it's not to your liking, no worries. Seriously, if you really want to do what we do, then give our section a try. Introduce yourself to me since I'm extending this invitation out. There are others who welcome you too. Interested? Call the Galaxy line and ask for tickets in Section 138 or ask for Chris Wode and he'll help you out.

Gunners is right. Based on LA's anemic offense, I think you would either have to find a bar somewhere in the stadium or stay in the parking lot and tailgate...

Can you believe we're taking smack from Wizzer fans? Maybe you should save the smack for when your team has a .500 record in MLS. They should be building plenty of snowmen in hell by then.

Keep this up, Wizardscharter, and I'll let Knave "guest-host" this forum.

South endzone is where the drummers are; my 3 1/2 year old daughter danced the entire game when we sat there...

Hi. My friends and I are planning to attend the July 4th game -- how is the view from the "GA10" (which I presume stands for general admission) section? I can get seats for $12 each through a special deal with Evil Ticketmaster. Or are we better off shelling out and/or sitting around the supporters groups? We'll even root against the Smurfs.

Yeah, I'd say shell out the extra dough for 138 to sit w/ LARS. They'll need as much help as possible, as the FO will sell the tix to anybody. Plus, it's always fun to cheer vs. the Water Nazis from the Great Blue Wasteland. ;)

And their stadium's small. And yes, size does matter, just ask Landie. :D

check out the riot squad and learn some chants at

    lariotsquad.net

    And have fun!

Hey, Carlos, were you at Red Car Brewery in Torrance before the Galaxy/Metros match last Wednesday night?

He may not have been, but another Galaxy fan and I were.

Did undergroundfc ever hang with LARS once this season yet?

Thanks for the tip -- how much more are the LARS seats, and how would I get them? I went onto their website and it appears to be out-of-date by a year or so.

The message board there is active. No one can be bothered to update the rest of the site.

Just call the ticket office 877-3GALAXY and ask for tickets in Sec 138. Not sure on the price these days but it'll probably be double those GA seats.
