Where to buy wine online?

    Anyone know the best places for buying wine online? Something that offers good specials from time to time, preferably. Thanks.

    It depends on where you live.

    Check out http://www.wine.com. You enter your state and they tell you whether or not they can ship wine to you.

    Assuming that you live in a state which will ship to you, try www.klwines.com. The only problem with buying wine on line is that the shipping costs will usually outweigh the price savings.

    Would that be true if you buy a case or more of wine that costs $15-20 per bottle (for example)?

    Depends how good of a discount you are getting. IIRC, it cost around $25 in shipping and handling per case, so if you're getting better than a $2 bottle discount, it's worth it. I think that it usually makes sense with more expensive wines ($20 and above) and rare wines. You probably can get a bulk discount.
