Losc play the Friday game today v. Lyon. Haven't seen line-ups but decent chance of a Weah sighting, I'd imagine. One point out of a shot at Europe, Rennes left a small opportunity with a loss last week.

the graphic I saw shows him at LB in a a 4-2-3-1 Gud-Yoro-Alex-Weah, fwiw. I might try to watch, but probably on the treadmill but I'll jump into the pbp if I get lazy.
He's playing RWB actually. Funny thing, most of our guys seem to end up RWBs, or in the Championship, yet we don't have any RWBs in the Championship.
He's really growing into the position. Defending well in transition, staying connected with his back line, makes himself available going forward. Looking very steady.
He's wasted in that position. All the Lille attacks have been generated from the left, the Gudmundsson-Bamba side. The only action that happened on their right is the Lyon goal, where they entered and everybody had to run from the left side to cover because Weah was nowhere to be found.
He seems to be recovering fine, just a headache. Ca a l’air d’aller pour Tim Weah 😀❤️ pic.twitter.com/cL8BhEkan3— Breaking Dogues (@BreakingDogues) March 18, 2023
LOSC won 2-0. Weah came off in injury time with the game at 1-0. Saw the final goal was scored at 90+11! LOSC at least temporarily in 5th, depending on Rennes result v PSG tomorrow. Only 2 behind Monaco for at least a few hour til they play Ajaccio in the AM.
I'm not surprised... He confided in his relationship to music, fashion, his passions outside of football, and it's on our YouTube channel

Rennes, of course, managed to beat PSG 2-0 so LOSC dropped back to 6th, one point out. Back at it against those three kings from the east on Sunday.
Lille won 3-1, which moves them up to 5th place--the last of the European slots (I think, but google doesn't tell me what the colored stripes next to the table position actually mean).
It means they qualify for the final playoff round before the Conference League Group Stage. Whether that's a reward or a punishment I leave up to you. YMMV and all that
