Screw the 8 wonders is there anywhere in the world I can get a hotel wake up, walk a few blocks to a coffee shop that might also sell joints, walk past a beautiful woman point at her and ask to come back to the hotel for an hour long shower and she agrees, then walk back to the coffee shop get some brownies and maybe something to trip on, then fall asleep by a river listening to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. All on a Sunday Morning?

Start with a trip to Asheville, NC. A stop at Knoxville, TN along the way. It’s a relatively short drive and will get you mentally far from home. If you extend that, keep going to Charleston, SC and then definitely on to Savanah, GA. Four nights, for easy drives. If you love one of them stop by on the ride home or hit Chattanooga and Nashville, TN on the loop home.

I am currently flying over Canada with the family, found enough loopholes to get out of Covid central. If they let me into the destination I'm hoping to enter I shall post about it here to gloat.
