Where on Earth can I find the Metrostars Kit in NY?

I've looked in every sports shop I can find in NYC and Long Island, and haven't found the new home kit anywhere.

Has anybody seen one of the elusive little beggars?

FWIW, NikeTown have the hooded sweatshirt with the new logo ($35).

I am only interested in a brick-and-mortar store. I want a good look at it before I shell out $80ish for it...

    Help!

Have you tried the most OBVIOUS CHOICE?

    www.theonionbag.com

It might be that Nike hasnt distributed them out and only have enough to give to Metro to sell. Even then theres been rumors that the jerseys on display at the consession at GS are only there for display and not for sale YET.

Metrocorazorn: Onion bag didn't have them on their website, so I would doubt if they were in their brick and mortar store, so I didn't go.

That would be the OBVIOUS action, yes?

Decent Guy: Thanks for the link -- I had heard about shipment delays but I didn't know if it was for specific orders or for everything....

When they become available, I'm pretty sure Massapequa Soccer Shop will have them, if LI is more convenient for you than the city.

You'd think the first place they ought to be is at Giants Stadium on game day.

Which means they'll be ready in July and more than half the season will be over. They'll probably be putting together plans to re-design the jersey at that time for 2004 so that people can shell out another $70 (or whatever it is).

Onion Bag: Can you let us know when you have 'em in stock and I'll pay a visit to your Brick and Mortar store...

    Thanks!

Nike will NOT be shipping jersey to outlet soccer stores...I.E. Soccer Post, Onion Bag....

Nike has been quoted as saying that they onlyproduced enough jerseys for the team themselves and the concession stands.

As of right now if jersey's get sent out Nike says it will not be untill the end of Sept.....right now Nike has problems with Man Utd and Arsenal whom both had colouring problems.

.....Damn 8 year old Malaysians ... you just cant get good workers under 10 anymore.

I really hope you find a new Metro jersey soon, and that a piano falls on your head soon after.

    Get this...

I need a couple Metro replicas, saw that The Onion Bag didn't have any, so I called the Nike customer service line.

The guy there said that his records showed that none were currently available anywhere, but I might try my luck someplace like eBay since some "snuck out" earlier in the year!

Is the 2003 home shirt gonna be the first super-rare MLS collectible? Even more collectible than my midget Tab Ramos keychain? ;)

Just get a fake AC Milan shirt for $10 on ebay and use magic mark to cover up their crest and put an "M" on it.

    That'll do for now!

Hmm. How big are you? I just go by for what size shirts I buy. Although I just happend to see a store in Jersey on 77th St and Bergen Line in North Bergen that had the Metro jersey on display.
