Jime Rome is a nationally syndicated radio sports show host. He actually has a TV show too. Is that show still on?

He makes his money by ripping on non-mainstream sports like soccer. He's funny at times but other times...not so much. Romie is pissed off because he doesn't understand offsides.

Dude, didn't you get the memo? You're no longer allowed to feel, let alone express outrage here. The "we should be happy with what we have so shut up and stop being so sensitive" police are on constant watch.

I'm directing my outrage at SoccerFan since he hasn't clued into the fact that this isn't the Third World and we have more than one sport here.

So, you're saying that pakovits, Segroves and Dan Loney are kind of like Big Soccer's John Ashcroft?

Did Rome talk about Freddy today? I saw a link to an audio clip on his web site titled "Soccer Prodigy"

Last time I checked Europe (E.U. zone) wasn't anywhere near the 3rd world.

Yeah. He ripped on him pretty good. Thought that soccer prodigy was an oxymoron -- "what, he's learned how to dive? he's scored more than one goal? he's grown one of those ridiculous mullets."

Basically said he'd be a problem kid now, that we he wouldn't be hanging with his friends at the mall, but out buying houses.

He also said that the US shouln't be losing to Mexico (as happened over the weekend in a U17 friendly), seeing as how we now have "million dollar player" on the roster.
