Personally, I liked the old school 2D version.

But maybe some others could help step up on a more consistent basis to help fill that void? Had you considered that DS has stepped back because he felt like he wasn't get enough bounce back on many of his thoughts??

 

People just want DS' input so they can memorize the key points and use it as their own input.

I do not know too much about him personally and his age - we have only pm'd each other once for other matters - but you know as one progresses, life gets more complicated and other responsibilities and priorities will take precedence. I get comments all the time from my real physical friends who say that I should live life to the fullest and take advantage of my youth and that is innocent when you are young, but responsibility and other priorities shift as you age. Life settles down, health, having a family and maintaining a good relationship with your significant other, and providing resources to your family becomes a important.

I support what ever direction he or the other mods go in and hope for the best.

Edit - dd, Of course DS' contribution to this forum is immense and we all adore him and his input to the board; however, the way you worded it and how it came off was insulting the rest of the current board members. We have very excellent and knowledgeable members and I deeply enjoy the quality of the members of this board.

 

Perhaps, he got a life.
