lol, maybe i should of been more clear. i knew that already, i meant how the hell does relate to putting a ball through someone's legs? like i said i think it is called "tunnel" in spanish cuz well the legs r the tunnel for the ball, which would make sense to me.

well, the most fun answer is that it's from cockney rhyming slang, wherein you refer to your friend as your "China" (derived from "china plate" which rhymes with "mate"), or ... you know that noise you make when you stick your tongue out and blow, in order to make a noise with your tongue and lips? That's called the Raspberry... based on "raspberry tart" which of course rhymes with "fart." The story goes that "nutmeg" rhymes with "leg" and thus somehow derives from that. And while I think it's interesting, I'm not going to go to the wall with the accuracy of this theory.

The term "meg" comes from Meg Ryan. She used to play soccer in Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington. That was her favorite play and she was quite good. Every time she did it a big grin appeared on her lovely face. When she attended Washington State University on a soccer scholaship she continued to use the play and everybody started to call it the "meg" and it stuck.
