Where does the nickname Cletus come from?

if i had to guess, i'd say it was a georgia thing - i vaguely remembering him referring to it during a USMNT halftime show

I think it's a reference to Cletus T. Judd, country music's answer to Wierd Al Jankovic. Don't tell Clint I told you though ..... don't want him asking me "who's the fat a** now?" Looks to me like Clint's form is coming around lately.
