Alright, here is the question. Outside of Portugal and Brasil, what Portuguese speaking nations would you absolutely love to visit, or even live in if the future permits.

Mine is Cabo Verde. I am absolutely infatuated with it. I want to visit Praia City of Santiago Island and Sal Island.

I have heard the people are wonderful, joyful, and the women a gorgeous brown. Beaches and a warm tropical climate year round. Also, it is a developing nation with large real estate and tourist projects going up on both those islands in particular.

I have only come into contact with Cabo Verdes once in my life, they were vising Montreal from Boston. But they were a wonderful family. The kids my age all loved futebol, and 2 of the girls in the family were ridiculously stunning. The adults were also very calm and well spoken. Generally I just got a wonderful vibe from them..

    Anyways, what are you destinations?

I have met a couple of chinese chicks that come from there. It depends of what people are looking for though.

If it's a developed place, well, it's the only one of all choices. It has casinos, bars and a great ambiance at night from what I heard...plus, China is hip lately :D

In africa you can only search for relaxation and safaris as it offers very little in tourism. If you're looking for the first, then Cabo Verde is undoubtedly the best place. You can roam around without fear, people are nice, good beaches and their portuguese is similar to ours.

I picked Macau because i'm a drooler at everything asian. When I was 13 I wanted to be a Yakuza, so that says it all :D

You just missed her she was in Toronto on Sept 27th I wanted to go see her but I had a birthday party to go to that night as well.

Places I'd like to visit that speak Portuguese
    Brazil
    Luanda, Angola
    Cabo Verde

Luanda is now one of the fastest growing cities, my fiancee's family lived there, they say it was like paradise. My uncle who fought in Angola loved it as well. Odds are I may go there as well in 4 years my father in law says he wants to go back and show it to his kids.

I hear good things about Luanda as well. Some dudes from my old work were from Angola. He said the women were beautiful and there were a few beaches close by. But apparently there is still a very visible gap between the middle class and the absolute bottom...
